Kicking off an illustrious partnership with Amazon, STN Digital worked with NFL on Prime as the agency of record the brand to life across platforms and generate follower growth. Beginning in 2016, STN was a seamless extension of the Amazon Prime internal team and provided everything from content ideation, planning, and execution to paid media, community management, and influencer marketing.
To further NFL on Prime’s overall goal of connecting to engaged NFL audiences through relatability, humor, and educated football takes, STN implemented a strategic content plan to tie back to Amazon’s main objectives. This included content ideation and executions, copywriting and posting, and content optimization. To further these goals, the STN team developed strategic influencer marketing plan. STN and NFL on Prime teamed up with influencers to collaborate on timely topics and spark two-way discussions surrounding breaking news in the industry.
Through creative campaigns, live coverage of major events, and influencer partnerships, during the 22-23 season the NFL on Prime social accounts received 657% higher impressions and 783% higher engagements when compared to the previous NFL season.
STN achieved this by testing and refining different forms of content and strategy, including variations of voice, branding, and live coverage. This allowed the STN team to take a deep dive into the target audience and develop a brand voice that speaks directly to the demographic.
Custom content and strategy allowed STN to help the NFL on Prime brand break through the noise to create a home for die-hard and casual fans alike.
