Today, we are thrilled to introduce the next GOAT in our spotlight series, Alex Flores. In her role as Director of Marketing, Alex takes on the responsibility of shaping and executing strategies that not only enhance STN Digital’s visibility but also launch us into the forefront of the digital landscape.
Alex’s leadership and innovative approach are instrumental in not only increasing our brand’s presence but also in elevating our industry reputation, making her a true driving force behind our success.
Q: Can you tell us about your role/ your time here at STN Digital?
A: As the Director of Marketing at STN Digital, my role revolves around driving the lead generation efforts across various channels, including our website, SEO initiatives, marketing emails, social media, our CEO’s podcast The Business of Social, PR campaigns, webinars, and all other avenues that drive brand awareness for STN Digital. My primary focus is on guiding leads through the marketing funnel and collaborating closely with our sales team to ensure successful closures.
Q: What is your favorite part of working at our company?
A: My favorite part about working at STN Digital is undoubtedly my passionate coworkers. We function as a tight-knit unit, always striving to stay ahead in the dynamic sports, entertainment, and social space. The excitement of ideating content and aligning it with the latest trends to create impactful campaigns is a ton of fun. It’s great to be surrounded by individuals who share a common goal of pushing boundaries and delivering results.
Q: What is your favorite piece of content STN Social has produced?
A: Hands down the IG Reels post by our incredible Marketing Coordinator Ellen! This post was the first STN Social post to break through over 1 million views—right now it’s at over 1.5 million views and counting!
Q: What do you like best about being a director?
A: The best part about my role is definitely getting to champion and support my team and helping each team member grow in their careers, offering guidance and a platform where their ideas are heard. We all come together to craft a vision, align our strategies with the business goals, and we get to see the amazing impact of our combined efforts.
Q: What has been your most memorable experience working at STN?
A: My most memorable experience was definitely my first Monday team meeting on my first day. I was so accustomed to quiet morning meetings where the chat room wasn’t very vocal, and when I jumped on this call, the chat was non-stop. The team was actively engaged and so excited to be present that it really set the precedent for the company culture. It was a great introduction to the energy and enthusiasm that defines STN Digital.
Q: What’s a passion of yours outside of work and can you tell us about it?
A: Definitely spending quality time with my friends and family. I feel like sometimes it’s challenging to keep up with everyone amidst our busy lives, but as I get older, I’ve really prioritized being around those that I love. Whether it’s a casual get-together or a weekend trip, those moments are truly important to me.
Q: What is your favorite social account to follow/what brands do you feel do a great job on social media?
A: From a brand standpoint Duo Lingo always kills it! From a personal consumption standpoint, Heyitsyoon is always saving me time from those multi-part series as I scroll on TikTok!
Q: What is at the top of your bucket list?
A: I’ve always wanted to see the northern lights!
